Even as November begins, Pokémon Go extends its Halloween festivities with the highly anticipated Part 2 of its 2026 event. Running from November 1st to 5th, this phase reintroduces fan-favorite costumed Pokémon and marks the exciting debut of the shiny form for Greavard, offering trainers a fresh challenge and new collectibles.
A significant highlight of this event is the opportunity for Mega Sableye to reach its Super Max Level. Upon achieving this, or even when evolved beforehand, Mega Sableye will learn the powerful Night Shade+ attack, providing a substantial boost in battles. Trainers are encouraged to capitalize on this enhanced ability during the event period.
For those who participated in the "Halloween 2026 Part 1" event, the "Go Pass" remains active throughout this second part. This ensures continuous access to its benefits, further enriching the event experience for dedicated players.
Participating in the Halloween 2026 Part 2 event grants players access to special Timed Research. This research automatically completes upon logging into the game, rewarding trainers with six Rare Candies and an encounter with a Sinistea (wearing a bow), providing valuable items and a festive Pokémon.
Spinning PokéStops during the event period can unlock a variety of Field Research tasks. These include catching Ghost-type Pokémon for encounters with Froakie (witch hat), Rowlet (Halloween), or Greavard; catching any 13 Pokémon for Mega Sableye Energy; making nice throws for Litwick, Sandygast, or Greavard encounters; winning raids for Zubat (top hat) or Sinistea (bow) encounters; and winning three raids for a Pikachu (hat and capelet) encounter.
During the Halloween 2026 Part 2 event, certain Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild. Trainers can expect to encounter Gengar (witch hat), Shuppet, Litwick, Froakie (witch hat), Rowlet (Halloween), Sandygast, and Greavard with greater regularity, making it an ideal time to expand their collections.
The event also introduces changes to the raid schedule, offering specific raid targets for trainers. One-star raids will feature Pikachu (hat and capelet) and Sinistea (bow), providing opportunities to catch these unique costumed Pokémon through cooperative battles.
