The "Clean Hands" quest, a recent addition in Arc Raiders' Frozen Trail expansion, challenges players to navigate the perilous Pendola Pass. This mission involves discovering a hidden Nomad Camp, recovering a unique artifact, and completing a symbolic display before a safe extraction. Successfully executing this quest requires careful exploration and adherence to specific steps, ensuring a rewarding experience for those who undertake it.
To embark on the "Clean Hands" quest, your journey begins in Pendola Pass. The first objective is to locate the elusive Nomad Camp. This encampment is cleverly concealed, accessible only through a pipe situated strategically between the Railyard, which occupies the central part of the map, and the Transit Tunnel found to its west. While the game provides hints, direct discovery can be tricky. Players should prioritize a cautious approach, especially if an Arc Frigate is present, as direct confrontation can complicate entry.
Upon successfully infiltrating the Nomad Camp, your next task is to retrieve a crucial item. Navigate the camp's interior to find a raised walkway. On this walkway, a yellow bag container will be highlighted, signaling the location of the "polluted item." Interacting with this container will reveal the Equatorial Sundial. Once acquired, it's imperative to secure this artifact in your safe pocket for safekeeping as you proceed to the next stage of the quest.
With the Equatorial Sundial in your possession, the quest directs you to the Old Town. Here, your goal is to transport the sundial to the summit of the local church. The church itself is a prominent landmark in the eastern section of the map, easily identifiable near the remains of an Arc Emperor. To reach the very top, locate the spiral staircase nestled in the southeast corner of the church. Ascend this staircase fully, then utilize the available zipline to gain access to the tower. Once there, interact with the railing to prominently display the sundial.
The final phase of the "Clean Hands" quest involves a successful extraction with the Equatorial Sundial. Ensure the artifact remains securely stowed in your safe pocket. For players new to extraction in Pendola Pass, the process involves activating a gondola console, which is clearly marked on your map. After activation, proceed to the designated extraction point where the gondola arrives, allowing for a safe departure and the triumphant completion of the quest.
